Reserva Conchal Golf Club which is located in Costa Rica’s northern province of Guanacaste, was recently recognized as the country’s ‘Best Golf Course’ during the 8th Annual World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony held in Dubai this year. Reserva Conchal features a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed golf course that opened in 1997. The 7,029-yard, par 71 layout meanders through the rolling coastal terrain, offering stunning Pacific Ocean views on several holes. Since acquiring the mixed-use development in 2001, the 105-year-old Costa Rican beverage corporation has been committed to employing long-term sustainable maintenance practices, which Troon has helped refine. In 2002, the golf course was the first to be certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in Costa Rica and has maintained its certification through the years.
