“It’s an incredible honor for Casa de Campo to partner with first-class companies like Five Iron Golf and Ship Sticks,” says Jason Kycek, senior vice-president of sales and marketing. “We have no doubt the Elite 8 will love teeing it up on Pete Dye’s Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore as well as enjoying one of the world’s truly exceptional golf resort experiences.”
The 7,000-acre resort has been home to Pete Dye’s masterpiece design Teeth of the Dog since 1971. Long considered the No. 1 course in the Caribbean, Dye’s famous design hallmarks are all present: railroad ties, vast waste areas, peninsula greens and tees, hand-sculpted putting surfaces and a unique assortment of pot bunkers. The seven exceptional oceanfront holes are astoundingly beautiful, causing Dye to famously quip: “I created 11 holes and God created seven.”
Casa de Campo showcases two additional Pete Dye gems. The dramatic 27 holes of Dye Fore on the scenic high ground of the property features three distinct nines and is an absolute “must play.” The “Chavon” nine offers cliffside holes towering 300 feet above the Chavon River below; the “Marina” nine affords spellbinding views of the Caribbean Sea off on the horizon; and the “Lagos” nine is artfully crafted across tumultuous terrain with a premium placed on shotmaking. The resort’s third superb Dye layout, The Links, is perfect for all golfing abilities and presents a fun “Dye-abolical” challenge.
To elevate the full resort experience, the Premier Club accommodations set a new standard of excellence and luxury for Casa de Campo’s most discerning guests. Highlighted with Caribbean warmth, exclusivity, personalized service and privacy from the moment guests arrive with a dedicated concierge showing them to their new Premier Suites. The Premier Club is also a place for guests to gather in their own exclusive bar and lounge area, enjoy premier beverages and a unique selection of complimentary canapes and appetizers prepared by its executive chef. Additionally, The Spa at Casa de Campo opened in May 2023 and has quickly become the Dominican Republic’s premier wellness destination. In fact, it is the first and only spa in the Dominican Republic to receive the coveted 4-Star spa award in the Forbes Travel Guide’s 2024 Star Awards. Featuring over 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor facilities, the spa provides a unique blend of prestige spa services, wellness experiences, and cutting-edge technology. Perhaps the best way to “create a world of your own” during a Casa de Campo golf stay is enjoying one of their exceptional villas. Before even stepping foot on property, a dedicated concierge will recommend the best villa for groups and help schedule any private excursions guests might be interested in. The spacious villas range from three to 11 bedrooms and offer a full array of creature comforts.
All the villas offer private check-in and are staffed with personal butlers (private dining available), maids, private pools, stylish living areas, and unique contemporary decors. From secluded garden villas showcasing the island’s abundant flora to the tranquil splendor of the Caribbean coast in an oceanfront villa, each style offers you a splendid “home away from home.” Casa de Campo full array of vacation offers and packages may be found here.
The resort’s world-class Golf Learning Center is also a “must visit” when on property. Highlighted by Trackman and BODITRAK technology, it features two indoor hitting bays for rapid game improvement, year-round training, individual and group golf lessons and schools, and expert club-fitting and repair. Residing on 21 acres of “pure grass,” the PGA Tour-quality facility also showcases practice greens for honing putting, chipping and pitching skills as well as unlimited use of the pristine outdoor range for full shots. On-course instruction is also available.
