FRISCO, TEXAS – THE PRO tests the mettle of some of the most talented and accomplished athletes in new ways. It offers a unique platform for athletes to demonstrate their versatility and competitive spirit, proving that their talents extend beyond their primary sports.
THE PRO golf tournament series is a celebration of athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and the unifying power of competition. It bridges the gap between different sports, creating a spectacle that captivates fans and showcases the multifaceted abilities of professional athletes.

In store for spectators in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area were 48 active and retired professional football players teeing it up at PGA Frisco, on the East Course.

Take a very tough design at the new home of the PGA Headquarters in Frisco, Texas designed by Beau Welling… add some tremendous winds that even Chicago would be proud of… and the gentleman of football realized that the scores go up with the wind comes up.

With the wind subsiding during the final round on Sunday, Matt Ryan secured a win at THE PRO FTB inaugural tournament at PGA Frisco after a final round comeback. The former All-Pro quarterback started with an eagle on the first hole, closing the gap against second round leader Mike Leach, an NFL veteran of 16 seasons.
“We don’t get to compete like we used to, but when you get an event like this, everyone was grinding today,” Ryan said. “And it’s great to have some of what made us special in our other careers (on display today). We very much appreciate (THE PRO) having us; thank you for putting this on. I look forward to watching what it becomes and how it grows, and I look forward to hopefully being back at another event soon.”

THE PRO, is a top golf brand and tournament series featuring athletes from major sports leagues, continues later this year. THE PRO HKY and THE PRO BKB will be held at Flossmoor Golf Club near Chicago, from July 18-20. THE PRO BSB will take place at Innisbrook Resort, near Tampa, from Dec. 12-14.
