Wilson Golf says, “Nothing Feels Like Forged” and so has added a forged model to the D9 family for play by better players wanting a thin top line, minimum offset look at address.
The sole slots, what they call “Power Holes,” are positioned close to the leading edge and are not the same size. The one closest to the toe is the smallest and in line with the largest which is closest to the heel. The third is parallel to these two and more towards the trailing edge.
The slots both adjust the head weight distribution and provide the tendency for the face to open at impact thereby improving contact for added distance and control.
“Wilson Golf designs products with our best-in-class technology for players at every level,” said Tim Clarke, President of Wilson Golf. “With D9 Forged, we’re able to deliver the look and feel demanded by this player with the distance and forgiveness they need.”
