For the 15th consecutive year, the beautiful Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Florida, will play host to the PGA TOUR Champions during this year’s TimberTech Championship that has become the second event in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, with the top 54 players on the Charles Schwab Cup points list after the Dominion Energy Charity Classic eligible to play. The pros will tee off on Friday, November 5 with a bevy of golf legends both new and old.

Two-time champion Bernhard Langer, a Boca Raton resident, and defending champion Darren Clarke headline the field, along with other major champions including (with their position on the points list): No. 2 Jim Furyk, No. 3 Ernie Els of Jupiter, No. 6 Retief Goosen, No. 8 Mike Weir, No. 19 David Toms, No. 33 Vijay Singh, No. 38 Lee Janzen and No. 47 Tom Lehman.

In addition, two-time PGA TOUR Champions major winner, Miguel Ángel Jiménez is currently in fourth place on Charles Schwab Cup points list. Another local, Brett Quigley of Palm Beach Gardens, also won during the expanded 22-month season, and is currently in 22nd place on the list.
