WYNTK:

Even better players often appreciate some added forgiveness from their irons and the new X Forged CBs provide that along with a high level of consistency from the cavity back design and MIM’d tungsten weighting.

The idea behind the making a multi-material head is the ability to precisely locate the center of gravity based on the iron loft which gives the control for hitting various shots with the proper trajectory. MIM’d stands for Metal Injection Molded which combines air-filled urethane microspheres and tungsten shaped to improve impact sound and dampen vibration. The microspheres surround a tungsten weight allowing lower placement of the center of gravity in the longer clubs and a higher placement in the scoring clubs.

The head shaping features a topline, offset and blade length typical of players irons as well as the feel derived from the mild carbon steel forging.

It is worth pointing out the shaft choices are top of the line as is the firm feeling stock Z Grip.
