Nexbelt – The Belt with No Holes

Nexbelt, The Belt with No Holes. Exactly what is a belt with no holes? The best belt you will ever own, one that fits perfectly.

Nexbelt hasn’t been around very long, but, in a few short years they have positioned themselves as the best ratchet belt company in the world.  As they claim, they didn’t invent the ratchet system, they re-engineered it and made it better. The technology has been around for 25+ years and is very popular in Asia. And that’s where one of the founders of Nexbelt, Eddie,  discovered it. He brought it back to his business partner Tom and discussed what could be done better. The first thing they did was to upgrade the leather – something most companies don’t do today. They utilized the existing mechanism but designed a buckle to resemble a pin buckle – and a golf buckle that had a hidden ball marker behind the face – which they patented.

If you look on the internet, you will see a lot of ratchet belt companies popping up. Most are less expensive and you may wonder why you should choose Nexbelt.

Let me be the first to tell you, “you get what you pay for.”

Before I got my Nexbelt, I bought one of these less expensive ratchet belts. It looks nice and it works, but the quality isn’t anything close to a Nexbelt. The leather just feels cheap and it is about half the thickness of Nexbelt’s leather. The ratchet is not as easy to open and close as Nexbelt. Needless to say, I haven’t worn that belt in a long time.

Once you get your belt, the first thing to do is to cut the belt to length. The Precisefit™ system allows you to simply cut on the line corresponding to your pants size (or a little bit larger, if you want some extra room). Attaching the buckle is easily accomplished by opening the vise-like grip and inserting the cut end of the belt until it stops. When you close the clasp, a row of teeth bite into the belt to hold the belt in the buckle. That’s it, you’re done, you’ve created your Precisefit™ belt.

Using the Nexbelt is the best part. When you buckle the belt, the free end slides in with a satisfying ratcheting sound. Adjust until you have the snugness exactly the way YOU want it, not to a factory pre-determined hole. The ratcheting system allows you to have quarter-inch adjustments.

It’s really quick and easy to either tighten or loosen the belt during the day. The belt will not loosen up on it’s own, once set, it’s set until you open the latch.

Removing the belt is also extremely simple. There is a latch on the bottom of the buckle. Pulling out on the latch releases the ratcheting mechanism and the free end slides out. The first time you take the belt off, you might struggle a bit, but once you’ve done it once, you’ve got it…like riding a bike.

Instead of a spring to hold the ratchet mechanism closed, Nexbelt uses a magnet. So there are no springs to break and the ratchet mechanism is lightweight but heavy duty and will last a long time.

Nexbelt strives to be different and to be the best. They’ve take the time and money to design and engineer something that is unique and better – that represents their design and engineering philosophy.

In my book, Nexbelt offers the best belt you can wear, they look good and they fit YOU exactly, not too tight or too loose, but just right. Nexbelt should be your next belt!
