The K grind from Bob Vokey is a favorite of many touring pros and the new K* grind is target at those a neutral to shallow attack angle playing on a range of turf conditions—in other words elite players.

The pre-wear or bevel on the leading wedge of the K* has more forgiveness compared with the regular K grind and puts the edge nearer the ground on square face shots. Combined with the heel and toe relief it becomes a more versatile tool and with a wide sole like the K model grind. Vokey also says it is great out of the sand.

The SM10 design introduced earlier this year features a low trajectory-producing placement of the center of gravity higher and more forward in the face with lower dispersion. The SM10 also has grooves cut to the edge for maximum spin and control.
