Georgia Golf Trail

by | Apr 3, 2022 | NEWS

NewEngland.Golf and eSouthernGOLF.com, two digital marketing platforms and golf media brands, are pleased to announce a two-year partnership with Georgia Golf & Travel a leading golf tour operator in the Peach State.

The Georgia Golf Trail, (http://www.georgiagolfandtravel.com) owned and operated by Georgia Golf & Travel LLC, was founded by Doug Hollandsworth in 2013 to showcase Georgia as one of the leading golf destinations in the world, through travel programs aimed at reaching the golfer who travels and brings family with them.

“The Georgia Golf Trail features more than 20 fabulous courses throughout the Peach State,” said Doug Hollandsworth, who is celebrating his 10th year in the business. “We are thrilled about the opportunity to offer attractive stay-and-play golf packages, especially to golfers who may not have visited Georgia and who only know about us because of the Masters. We enjoy showing off our outstanding golf courses with affordable, first-class accommodations and true southern hospitality.”

Augusta National Golf Club has hosted The Masters since 1934, and in the last 20 years the state of Georgia has hosted the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, Korn-Ferry Tour and LPGA. From the mountains in the north to the southeast coastline, Georgia is a state with great history with 420 private and public courses.

NewEngland.Golf and eSouthernGOLF share a team of 20 veteran golf writers including publisher Alan Darty, Steve Pike, Ed Travis, Bruce Berlet, Dave Daubert, Shane Sharp, David Theoret, Len Ziehm, Dan Sheppard, Tom Bedell, Bill Doyle, Leigh MacKay and John Ingoldsby.
