The new Sandhill Grill provides an ideal place to enjoy light fare with a cold libation while divvying the spoils of the day’s contest. Pinecrest is a member of the Florida Historical Golf Trail with smallish greens and a challenging layout.

River Greens Golf Club, also in Avon Park, has been family owned and operated since 1969. The Davis clan provides a change from the corporate managed facilities, offering a friendly and welcoming feel from the moment you step on River Geens. The 6400 yard 18 hole design by Jack Kidwell, the Johnny Appleseed of Golf, winds its way around lakes and canals, providing a true test for smart play.

Sun ‘N Lake Golf Club is a combination of two championship golf courses; Deer Run, the tougher of the two, opened in1976 and plays to 7002 yards from the tips with a rating of 73.9/134. The original Don Dyer design was enhanced by Ron Garl in 2003 with a great closing par 3 next to the clubhouse. Turtle Run which opened in 1999 and plays 6400 yards from the back tees, was designed by Charles Ankrom in the middle of a Scrub Jay preservation area and a beautiful setting to enjoy a tactical game of golf. Both courses feature Tifdwarf greens and 419 bermuda fairways for a fun round.
