One of Alabama’s must-play golf destinations is Kiva Dunes, which is located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, perched along the banks of the Gulf of Mexico.  While the Gulf of Mexico is not visible from the golf course, golfers will feel the winds off the nearby Gulf.  Those winds are at the core of the Kiva Dunes golf experience, as those winds are Kiva’s greatest form of defense, as are many of its undulating greens.

Of the 20+ golf courses on the Georgia Golf Trail, nine of them are tucked away in nine of Georgia’s state parks. While some of these golf courses may be off the beaten path, so to speak, they are worth making the effort to go play.
