Bloodline Golf Garners its First Major Win

Bloodline Golf is pleased to announce that its R1-J Blade putter was used by the winner of the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship. It was Vijay Singh’s first major victory on the PGA TOUR Champions including an impressive 20 birdies and an eagle to go with just a single bogey in the tournament.

“We want to congratulate Vijah on an extremely well-deserved victory,” said Larry Bischmann, Bloodline co-founder. “People don’t realize how hard the great players work. It’s really nice to see all that time on the range and practice green get rewarded like this. We are proud to be a piece of what has led to two wins this year.”

In addition to multiple wins on the PGA TOUR Champions, Bloodline was also used to claim a victory on the Tour at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in January. “It’s exciting to see this level of success at such an early stage of the company. Only a handful of players have given Bloodline putters a chance so far, but they have had impressive results,” added Brad Adams, Bloodline co-founder.

Bloodline was first released on the PGA TOUR last year and was used by Ernie Els who had arguably his best year with the putter finishing 4th on the PGA TOUR in Total Putting. Additionally, the RG-1 putter was recognized with a 2018 Golf Digest Hot List award.

Despite the fact that Bloodline has done limited promotion on tour because they are still looking for the right investment partner, it isn’t stopping players from using Bloodline putters. Recently, a top-4 finisher at the 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship purchased a Bloodline putter one week before the LPGA’s major championship. She finished top-5 and won approximately $170,000. She’s not alone. In both the 2018 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship and U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship, competitors qualified and played in the event with a Bloodline putter they purchased through the company’s website. Lastly, multiple top-10 finishers at the recent American Century Championship also played Bloodline putters.

Bloodline has developed a premium putter line of CNC-milled heads which include a high-performance carbon fiber shaft that contributes to the putter’s unique capability to stand up by itself on the green. In designing its putters, the company created an ultralight shaft that does not compromise on feel or flex characteristics and also includes an oversized gripping section built directly into the shaft. This pioneering construction enables Bloodline putters to have an extremely low balance point that helps give more feel and release during the stroke.

The Bloodline R1-J and RG-1 putters are available at a growing number of select retail locations. For more information about Bloodline authorized retailers or to purchase Bloodline product, please visit

About Bloodline Golf

Bloodline Golf has set a new standard in putter performance thanks to its patented technology which includes a carbon fiber shaft/grip combination that is unlike any other putter shaft in the world. Bloodline putters were launched on Kickstarter and have been sold primarily direct to consumer over the last year. Feedback from customers and the success of Bloodline on tour has made it possible to start to make the putters also available at a select group of the most exclusive retailers in the industry.

The Bloodline brand is rooted in three generations of golf industry excellence and is committed to making a lasting impact on the game of golf. The company’s name pays tribute to a golf “bloodline” that includes Vale Adams, an extremely well-respected club professional from Illinois, his son Gary Adams, the founder of Taylor Made Golf, and his grandson Brad Adams, one of the founding members of Odyssey Golf. The legacy continues with Larry Bischmann, who built the team and strategy that launched the super-premium driver shaft, Diamana, which became the winningest driver shaft on the PGA TOUR. Adams and Bischmann joined forces to create the ultimate fusion of design, function, performance and heritage: Bloodline Golf.
