Honours Golf Takes Over The Frog Golf Club at the Georgian

Honours Golf, a division of Troon, the leader in golf course management, development and marketing, has been selected to manage The Frog Golf Club at The Georgian in Villa Rica, Georgia. Established in 1998 and located approximately 35 miles west of Atlanta, The Frog Golf Club features an 18-hole, Tom Fazio designed parkland style golf course that has been recognized as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and ranked as one of the top courses in the state with a 4 & 1/2  rating by Golf Digest.

“The Frog Golf Club at The Georgian is an exceptional and beautiful golf facility,” said Bob Barrett, CEO of Honours Golf. “Our Honours team will now look to further advance The Frog’s service levels, agronomy standards and overall club operations.”

In June of 2015, the club opened a beautiful new clubhouse. The state-of-the-art facility features an expansive bar with lounge area, a spacious dining room, a deck overlooking the 18th green for outdoor dining, and a full-service golf shop.

“We are excited to enter into this partnership with Troon,” said Bill McGuire, CEO of The Frog at the Georgian and United Development Company. “Troon and its Honours Golf division are leaders in managed clubs with expertise in club marketing and dining operations.”
