Troon Golf Partners with Greg Norman

Troon Golf, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and the world’s largest golf management company, announced in July the completion of a significant transaction with Great White Shark Enterprises(GWSE) and Kohlberg & Company, LLC, a leading private equity firm specializing in middle market investing. The transaction provides Troon with new capital and strategic partners and positions it for accelerated growth in the golf and hospitality industry. Kohlberg has acquired a large portion of the Troon stock, replacing Starwood Capital and Goldman Sachs as majority shareholders.

Dana Garmany, who founded Troon in1990, will continue to lead Troon as its Chairman & CEO and its largest shareholder.
