Celebration Golf Management announced the addition of William Beasley as the new Golf Course Superintendent at Stonegate Golf Club, the CGM managed 36 hole championship club located in Solivita, the #1 active-adult community in Florida. Bill worked for Marriott Golf Management at Grande Pines Golf Club, Grande Vista Resort & Golf Club and the Marriott Golf Academy off of International Drive in Orlando, Florida before signing on at Stonegate.

Beasley graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College(one of the finest Turf Management schools in the Southeast) in Tifton, Georgia where he received the President’s Award for Scholastic Achievement. After college Bill worked at some of the best golf courses in Central Florida honing his skills and learning the intricacies of bermuda grass and course management. Among the clubs he worked at are Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club, North Shore, Highlands Reserve and Providence golf clubs. He also spent 3 years as Superintendent at the Plantation at Leesburg, another active-adult 36 hole facility and understands the unique skills needed to be successful in that environment.

Bill was 2010 President of the Central Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, where he still is a member of the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Golf Superintendents Association of America, and is Certified of Best Management Practices Florida Green Industry.

He has been married for 10 years to his wife Tiffany, who also works in the golf industry, and resides in Central Florida with their son Breck.
