Rod Perry Wins 2nd PGA Pro of the Year

rod perryRod Perry, PGA Head Professional at Cranes Lakes Golf & Country Club in Port Orange, has captured his second consecutive PGA Professional Player of the Year award. Rod is the lone left-handed player and sole PGA Management University graduate to win a PGA Professional National Championship and Player of the Year award. Perry is the second North Florida PGA member to garner the award which was begun in 1984.

Perry credits the comfort of a support staff during his absence from Crane Lakes enabling him to concentrate on the PGA Tournament Series and other national events throughout the season.” It is a great situation to be in to have the support of your club’s owners-the Becks Corporation and that of Director of Business Development Craig Wells along with our members and staff,” says Perry. “The members take a very wholehearted interest in not only my playing but my whole life.”

Perry will be honored June 2014, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at the 47th PGA Professional National Championship presented by Club Car, Mercedes Benz USA and Omega to be played at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club and Grande Dunes Resort Club. For more information contact www.PGA.com.
