Golf Inc. magazine has ranked Billy Casper Golf Chairman and CEO Peter Hill Fourth in the magazine’s list of ‘Most Innovative People in Golf’ for his “thinking-outside-the-box” leadership of the company that manages the fifth largest portfolio of golf courses, country clubs and resorts worldwide. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the company is the largest owner-operator of courses, country clubs and resorts in the U.S. with more than 150 properties in 29 states.

Ushering a new era of engagement in the $69 billion golf industry, Hill is focused on BCG creating “the best operating platform in the history of golf.” A key component is his advent of “BCG Ventures” that features the Billy Casper Digital Network and a database that touches one of eight golfers in America.

The magazine applauds Hill’s passion for boosting golf’s appeal among avid golfers and beginners. BCG-managed properties are realizing surges in rounds and revenue through groundbreaking experimental programs, including:

FootGolf- The widely popular golf-soccer hybrid installed at dozens of Billy Casper courses is drawing new demographics and producing meaningful, incremental income for owners.

GolfBoard-Backed by a safety first mantra, courses are filling tee sheets with these durable, surf board inspired, motorized golf vehicles that golf millennials love to ride.

Women on Course- The nation’s premier networking organization has introduced more than 30,000 women to golf through nearly 2,000 fun and supportive events.

World’s Largest Golf Outing- the biggest one-day celebration of golf and charity created by Hill in 2011 has seen 40,000 golfers raise nearly $3 million for the Wounded Warrior Project.

About his hands-on, forward looking approach, Golf Inc states, “Hill leads by example. He’s all about innovation. He embraces it. He encourages it.”

“Billy Casper Golf doesn’t follow industry trends, it creates them,” says Hill, who co-founded BCG in 1969 with business partner Robert Morris and the late PGA Tour legend Billy Casper. “I’m a cog in a greater wheel as our ingenious team constantly develops new and exciting programming which golfers crave.”

The ‘Innovative’ recognition follows Hill’s # 6 ranking among Golf Inc’s ‘Most Powerful People in Golf’
in 2014, the 10th consecutive year he has been among golf’s top 10.

Billy Casper Golf highlights include BCG Spectrum, BCG Private and BCG Select management solutions; Buffalo Brand Invigoration Group, the in-house golf-sport lifestyle PR, strategy development, integrated marketing, social media and design firm; and BCG Ventures.
