Nicklaus Academy at Hawk’s Landing Hosting Open House

The Jack Nicklaus Academy Orlando will be hosting an Open House & Technology Showcase Saturday, October 14th from 11am to 2pm. The event is open to to the public and will feature a number of the best-in-class golf technologies that the Nicklaus Academies use worldwide. A drawing will be held with prizes: a Taylor Made M1 Driver, Best Connect Putting Stroke Analyzer, rounds of golf at Hawks Landing, free admission for two to attend a Jack Nicklaus Driving school or a Golden Bear Scoring School, Putter Wheel training aids, and more.

Nicklaus Academy Certified PGA Professionals will present and demonstrate the proven Jack Nicklaus Academy Philosophy and Process. Members of the Nicklaus Academy Junior Elite Team will be on hand to demonstrate what is possible with the right combination of dedication and personalized instruction.

  • Taylor Made will conduct a demo day from 10am to 2pm for attendees to test their latest clubs including the #1 Driver on the PGA Tour with a chance to win an M1.

Hawk’s Landing Golf Club is a Certified Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary 18 hole championship golf course originally designed by Joe Lee, and redone by Bob Cupp in 1998 on over 220 acres. The first class layout reaches 6,602 yards from the back tees with a 131/72.6 slope rating. With tightly mowed fairways, 80 bunkers, and 15 holes with water, the course is a good test, but the multiple tee locations will soften the blow and afford an enjoyable golf experience.
