JumboMax® Grips Played by Winner of the 2015 NCAA Men’s Division I Individual National Championship

jumbomaxJumboMax continued its winning streak in a big way this week by helping one of the top ranked amateur golfers in the world, a junior from SMU, become the 2015 NCAA Men’s Division I Individual National Champion.

He played his final 9 holes in an impressive 3 under par to cap off a four-round score of 280 (-8) at the par-72 Concession Golf Club and capture the individual title on what turned out to be a very difficult layout for all the competitors. The standout collegiate golfer has been playing JumboMax Grips for several years now.

“Helping to win such a prestigious national title confirms that JumboMax grips are not just for mid to high handicap golfers,” said John Mazzanoble, V.P. of Sales for JumboMax. “This athlete is also a Physics major, so he fully understands the technology behind our grips and what makes them perform so well. JumboMax grips were designed to help golfers of all skill levels hit longer, straighter shots. From high-handicappers to world class amateurs and Tour Professionals, every golfer out there can benefit from this technology.”

About JumboMax Golf Grips

JumboMax Grips garnered the attention of the golf world by offering golfers an alternative to the standard-size or “skinny” grips typically found on clubs. The super-oversized JumboMax Grip, with its patented design and larger diameter, provides a more secure Finger-Palm™ Grip which makes for a tension-free connection to the club. This Finger-Palm Grip Technology promotes relaxed grip pressure, more consistent squaring of the clubface, a more fluid and powerful swing, and the most shock-absorption for continuous comfortable play.

In independent player testing administered by GolfTest USA, JumboMax® Golf Grips outperformed standard golf grips in head-to-head testing in nearly every category and were awarded the company’s Seal of Excellence and its Highest Achievement Award.

Results with the JumboMax Grips versus the standard grips showed improvement in nearly all categories tested including Carry Distance, Total Distance, Clubhead Speed, Smash Factor and Wedge Dispersion; particularly impressive was the 10+ yard Increase (6.2%) in Carry Distance that testers experienced with the Driver and the 22.8% better dispersion average they experienced in the Wedge test.
