Enjoy a Summer Escape at Streamsong Resort

Discerning golfers and travelers are invited to experience the 16,000 acre magnificent Streamsong Resort, located south of Lakeland, Florida between Tampa and Orlando. The Mosaic Company developed Streamsong on a commitment to the surrounding natural resources and in concert with the environment. Their appreciation for the property’s inherent beauty creates an unparalleled luxury resort. The Resort is offering exclusive packages with some exceptional value this summer.

I can tell you first hand, it is simply like no other resort destination in Florida. Although golf is one of the main amenities, you do not have to be a player to enjoy the perfect backdrop for ultimate relaxation. The Acqua Pietra grotto style spa has a full menu of services to rejuvenate the mind and body, in its unique setting below the 216-room Lodge. If fishing is your way of kicking back, the many pristine lakes and streams on the property are available for a private guided bass fishing excursion. Streamsong has a sporting clays course to challenge the best shooters, and a fine group of instructors to teach you the target sport through the natural flora and fauna trail.

If fine dining is one of your indulgences, you need look no further than the offerings at the Lodge and the golf clubhouse. FYI, there are no other restaurants near Streamsong. The culinary team provide ample choices for the palate at Fragmentary Blue, their rooftop early evening lounge with free sunsets every night overlooking the lake. On the main floor of the Lodge, breakfast, lunch & dinner are served at P205, where we enjoyed hearty breakfasts and delicious entrees with outstanding service. In the lower lobby area is the intimate SoccoTerra Ristorante, serving exquisite fare in the evening. At the golf clubhouse for the Red & Blue courses is 59, considered a perfect score in golf, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner perfectly. 59 offers one of the finest wine selections in the state in an extraordinarily designed dining area with gorgeous views. The Clubhouse also has 12 upstairs rooms for a small groups of golfers to enjoy their own accommodations with easy access to the courses.

Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw designed the Red course while Tom Doak the Blue. These two outstanding layouts are “Best Public Golf Courses in Florida” and highly ranked in the USA and are a ‘Must Play’ by The Duffer at ESouthernGolf.com. The designs are next to each other, different in some ways, and yet a true test of golf. The Mosaic Company has enlisted Gil Hanse, the golf course architect responsible for the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2016 Olympic Golf Club, to design what will be Streamsong Black. The third course will have its own clubhouse and practice facilities and should be open by next year.
