Pioneer Golf and Performance Apparel Company Continues Longstanding Support of PGA Professionals
The PGA of America has announced today that The Antigua Group will extend its partnership in the Golf Retirement Plus™ program through 2016. As the first golf apparel company to join the program in 1998, Antigua has been a dedicated Presenting Partner that has continued its commitment to the financial goals of PGA Professionals.
“With their unwavering commitment to quality and customer service, Antigua represents a symbol of excellence in the golf apparel industry,” said PGA President Ted Bishop. “The PGA of America appreciates the 16 years of support Antigua has already provided to our PGA Professionals through their generous offering of Golf Retirement Plus incentives, which we are delighted will now continue through the PGA’s Centennial in 2016.”
Celebrating its 35th anniversary of business in 2014, Antigua has always held a strong position in the golf apparel market. The clothing company was the official golf apparel licensee for the 2013 U.S. Solheim Cup Team and also sponsors the LPGA’s Stacy Lewis, the PGA TOUR’s Brian Stuard and Tom Pernice Jr. of the Champions Tour. In extending their Golf Retirement Plus partnership, Antigua bolsters not only their position in the golf industry, but also their great relationship with PGA Professionals around the world.
“Antigua is very proud to continue our support and involvement with the Golf Retirement Plus program through the PGA of America,” stated Ron McPherson, president and CEO of Antigua Group. “We started with the program back 16 years ago, and have watched it grow and prosper to provide excellent results for PGA Professionals.”
