Antigua Tour Ambassador Kris Tamulis Wins 2015 Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic

Tamulis fired a final round 65 and held off charges by Yani Tseng and Austin Ernst to card her victory! Kris is a Florida State University Alumnus.

The process of designing and developing the uniforms alongside Captain Inkster and Assistant Pat Hurst began in late fall 2014. The designs were finalized in January, 2015. The yearlong design involved choosing fabrics appropriate for the field of play and particular time of year in a specific seasonal climate. The fitting sessions took place even before the final team was chosen at LPGA Tour events and then narrowed down to the actual Team.
“It’s been great to work with the staff at Antigua, and they have always been a terrific supporter of the LPGA,” Captain Julie Inkster said. “They’ve been very enthusiastic about clothing the United States Team, and I’m really excited to see our players dressed in their red, white and blue.”
The final uniforms will consist of two separate changes per day for the tournament rounds, as well as additional outfits for each day of the practice rounds. It took more than a year from beginning to end to design the USA Solheim Cup Team clothing ensembles.
